Arkansas Appointment Renewals for 2019

Key Information:

    • Appointment renewals begin May 31, 2019
    • Appointment Renewal Invoices and the list of appointment renewals due will be available on the NIPR website beginning 8:00 AM CDT, May 31, 2019 through 4:00 PM CDT July 1, 2019.
    • NIPR will turn off appointments on May 24, 2019 at 4:00 PM CDT.  Appointments will be turned back on May 31, 2019 at 8:00 AM CDT. Transactions submitted during this time will declined.
    • Termination requests for individual appointments that are not to be renewed must be reflected on PDB by May 24, 2019.
    • NIPR will turn off terminations on May 24, 2019 at 4:00 PM CDT. Terminations will be turned back on May 31, 2019 at 8:00 AM CDT. Transactions submitted during this time will declined.
    • Paper terminations will be accepted by the state also until May 1, 2019. Please note that paper terminations may take 15 working days for the state to process.
    • If appointment renewal invoices are not paid before 4:00pm CDT on July 1, 2019, the appointment will be cancelled. If this occurs, a new appointment must be submitted after July 2, 2019.
    • Appointment Renewal and NIPR processing fees are non-refundable.
    • Please contact Arkansas Department of Insurance at insurance.license@arkansas.gov if you have a dispute regarding a specific appointment and documentation to verify you previously terminated the appointment. Disputes must be resolved prior to May 24, 2019.
    • Arkansas appointments will be updated on PDB after the renewal period ends on July 1, 2019.

Insurance carriers with an NAIC CoCode wishing to reconcile company appointments with the state insurance department may obtain a list of appointments via the Company Appointment Report (CAR) prior to appointment renewal invoices being created.  Terminations can be made through the Interactive Appointment and Termination Application. Both of these applications are available to NIPR Subscribers.
