  • Appointments are renewed annually.
  • The NIPR website will have available the renewal invoice and a list of appointments due for renewal on January 30, 2020.
  • Termination requests for individual appointments that are not to be renewed must be processed before 3:00 PM CST January 23, 2020.
  • Invoices will no longer be displayed on the NIPR website after 4:00 PM CDT April 2, 2020.

NIPR Processing Fees

NIPR Renewal processing fee will equal one percent of the total state fee charged with a minimum of $5 and maximum of $1000.

Business Rules

  • Electronic processing through NIPR is mandatory and continuation invoices cannot be paid directly to the Department of Insurance.
  • Companies will not be allowed to terminate any appointments on the list, once the invoice and list has been generated and made available. Companies will not be allowed to terminate or cross-off any names from the invoice.
  • Electronic payment options chosen through NIPR will immediately reflect the invoices as paid and NIPR will forward payment and renewal transactions to the state within 24 hours of that payment.
  • Appointment Renewal and NIPR processing fees are non-refundable.
  • Current lists of appointments are available through the Database Search function on the Wyoming Insurance Department's website: http://doi.wyo.gov.
  • Appointments will not be renewed if payment is less than invoice total.

  • One Year

 

  • Pursuant to W.S. § 26-9-207(f) the Department must be notified of an address change within (30) days of the change. Address, phone and e-mail updates must be completed online using NIPR or Sircon.
  • Address or name changes are not processed with the renewal applications.

  • Changes to the DRLP may be submitted online using Sircon.
  • Other affiliations are not accepted.

  • All updates to Partners, Officers, Directors, and Managers may be submitted by email to insurancelicensing@wyo.gov on company letterhead.

  • Nonresidents moving to Wyoming must establish legal residence, submit application, fees, and a letter of clearance from the prior resident state within 90 days.
  • Nonresidents moving from one state to another state must report the new resident state and contact information by submitting the Address Change Request Form by email to insurancelicensing@wyo.gov
  • Nonresident adjusters moving to a state that licenses adjusters must:
    • Become licensed as a resident in the new resident state
    • Report new resident state and contact information to the Department by submitting the Address Change Request Form by email to insurancelicensing@wyo.gov
