Applicant must be at least eighteen (18) years old or older as determined from the applicant's date of birth.
Non-citizens of the U.S. must have a resident license for selling insurance in one of the fifty (50) U.S. states.
Applicant must provide a valid business/residence phone number and both business and personal email addresses.
Applicants for the variable line of authority (LOA) must supply FINRA CRD number on application.
A producer licensed with a casualty LOA may sell travel baggage without a separate license or qualification.
Resident surplus lines broker applicants must first actively hold both single lines of producer property and casualty in Wyoming.
Resident surplus lines broker applicants must include a $10,000 surplus lines bond issues on the required surplus lines bond form with the state of Wyoming as obligee. The form may be found on the state website.
A letter from the Motor Club Company on the company's letterhead stating that the applicant is authorized to represent the Motor Club in Wyoming, and whether it includes insurance, must be e-mailed to the Wyoming Department of Insurance at: firstname.lastname@example.org.
