License Printing

The Virgin Islands does not offer online license printing. All licenses will be printed and mailed once they have been issued.

Renewal Period (Individual)

All License Classes October 1st – December 31st January 1st -  January 15th January 16th – March 15th March 16th – Five years past expiration date.

Note: licenses expire annually on December 31st

Business Rules (Individual)

Applicants with a status reason of revoked or suspension-admin action cannot apply electronically.

Partial renewals are allowed for active lines of authority during renewal cycle. Only one (1) partial renewal application per renewal cycle is allowed.

Applicants must reinstate through NIPR’s Non-Resident Renewal Application if license is inactive and within five (5) years of license expiration date. Exclusions: Agent and Apprentice Agent/Solicitor applicants.

Agent and Apprentice Agent/Solicitor applicants must apply as new through NIPR’s Non-Resident License Application if their license status is inactive.

The apprentice agent/solicitor license class is not renewable. All other license classes renew annually.

If original application was received between October and December, licensee will not need to renew until December 31st of the following year.

If applicant responds "yes" to one of the background questions please submit supporting documents electronically via NIPR's Attachments Warehouse. The documents may also be submitted to the state via mail, email, or fax. All other required documentation must be forwarded directly to the state.
