Business Rules (Individual)

The NIPR does not maintain or process course completion data.  Access to the renewal application is granted once the state electronically notifies the NIPR that you are CE compliant.  We are unable to override the status.  You may select your resident state name from the map on the following link: /map_continuing_education_requirements.htm  to view your CE transcript and determine whether the state has updated your status to compliant in their system and on what date.  It generally takes up to 72 hours from the compliance date for the status to be updated in our system.

Applicant must not have an active resident state license on PDB in any state.

In order for an applicant to renew through the No Home State renewal application for an Independent Adjuster or Staff Adjuster license, the applicant MUST NOT have an active resident adjuster license on PDB (in any state). Note: Public Adjusters will be treated as Producers.

Applicant must provide either residence or business address that is not in the state of New Mexico.

In order for an applicant to renew through the No Home State renewal application for an Independent Adjuster or Staff Adjuster license, the applicant's Designated Home State on the Producer Database (PDB) must be New Mexico.

Applicant must provide a valid residence address. Residence address may not contain a P.O. Box.

Applicants may use No Home State Licensing Renewals to late renew if they are applying within one year of expiration date.

Applicants must reinstate through No Home State Initial Licensing one year after license expiration date.

If applicant responds "yes" to one of the background questions please submit supporting documents electronically via NIPR's Attachments Warehouse. The documents may also be submitted to the state via mail, email, or fax. All other required documentation must be forwarded directly to the state.

Insurance Producer, Independent Adjuster, Insurance Consultant, Motor Club, Public Adjuster and Viatical Broker applications must have at least one affiliation on record.
