Applicant's name, Tax ID, license number, and state of residence must match current Producer Database (PDB) record for resident state.
Applicant must renew all Lines of Authority (LOAs) for the particular license class being renewed at once. If applicant is not qualified to renew one or more of their lines for this license type at time of renewal they are can not renew electronically.
Applicant must not have a status of suspended, tax compliance, revoked, or tax compliance.
Surplus lines applicants must hold an active non-resident license in Missouri with producer license class and property and casualty Lines of Authority (LOAs).
Producer applicant will be allowed to late-renew license electronically for up to one year past license expiration date. After one year the applicant may reinstate through the initial licensing application.
Surplus lines applicant can reapply for their license starting the day after the expiration date. Note: exam requirements and all initial licensing requirements apply for surplus lines reinstatement transactions.
If applicant responds "yes" to one of the background questions please submit supporting documents electronically via NIPR's Attachments Warehouse. The documents are stated as follows and may be submitted to the state via mail, email, or fax:
- A written statement summarizing the details of each incident.
- A copy of the petition, complaint or other document that commenced the lawsuit, arbitration, or mediation proceedings.
- A copy of the official document, which demonstrates the resolution of the charges or any final judgment.
