Business Rules

P.O. Box is not allowed for business or residence address.

In order to submit a CCR to Maryland, applicant’s licensing record must be in an active or expired status on PDB.

For insurance producers holding a non-resident license in this state: Changes to the state of an address from what is on file are allowed only when the address is copied from the insurance producer's primary resident state. However, the address being copied must already be on file in the primary resident state, or it must have the same state as the address on file in the primary resident state.

All address changes that cannot be processed via NIPR, including all business entity address changes, should submit an insurance producer License Service Request Form that must be faxed to (410) 468-2399.
