Applicant Can

  • Submit name and contact change requests for any license on NIPR's Producer Database (PDB)
  • Submit email changes
  • Submit phone number changes
  • Submit change to state code of mailing address (Non-Residents only)
  • Submit change to state code of residence address (Individual Non-Residents only)
  • Submit change to state code of business address (Non-Residents only)
  • Submit change to state code of mailing address (Residents only)

Applicant Cannot

  • Submit DHS contact change request (no resident state license on PDB)
  • Submit change to state code of residence address (Residents only)
  • Submit change to state code of business address (Residents only)

Business Rules

Address Changes

  • P.O. Box not allowed for business and residence addresses.

  • For non-resident Connecticut licensee: Submitted business, mailing and residence address must match the current mailing address for resident/home state on PDB (if applicable) or a transaction must have already been submitted.

  • State does not track counties.

Name Changes 

  • State does not require submission of documentation to support name change requests.
