Application Workflow

To access the Non-Resident Adjuster Licensing application, go to the NRAL State Requirements.

NRAL applications are processed through the user interface by following a basic workflow:

  1. Use Agreement: You will need to accept the NIPR Use Agreement.

  2. Sign In / Start Application: Start a new application or select to continue a started one.

  3. Select License State: Selection list of eligible states where you may apply for an adjuster license.

  4. Designate an Adjuster Home State: Allows selection of a Home State when selecting a resident state is not an option.

  5. Select License: Select license type and lines of authority.

  6. Estimated Fee Details: Based on license selections, this is the estimated fee.

  7. Biographic Information: Provide personal data such as residential address and phone.

  8. Business Information: Provide business data.

  9. Mailing Address: Provide your mailing address.

  10. Aliases: List other names used in the past.

  11. Affiliations: List any past or present business affiliations.

  12. Employment History: List work history for the past five years.

  13. Background Questions: Questions pertaining to current or past legal actions.

  14. Attestation: Attest to the accuracy of the information provided.

  15. Verification Email: Provide verification email for receipt or transaction issues.

  16. Submitter: Provide submitter information.

  17. Payment: Make a payment with a credit card, eCheck, or PayPal.

  18. Receipt: View and download your receipt.

  19. Print: Print the details of your renewal application.

  20. Follow up: Read carefully all the additional steps that might be required.
